Sabriya N. Rosemond, PhD

Since I completed my doctorate in Molecular and Cell Biology in 2014, my work has focused on cultivating, re-culturing, and re-designing learning environments in and out of STEM classrooms that support student success with a particular focus on communities that have been historically excluded from STEM. I’ve had the privilege of working with students in a number of capacities including as an instructor, course designer, science education researcher, and program manager and developer. 

I am interested in creating of learning environments that support students to see themselves as brilliant learners and doers of science through engagement in authentic and comprehensive disciplinary practices and expansive definitions of smartness.
